This poem informs and warns us that the first people who received this instruction in a particular, time and place made the common and understandable mistake of failing to make the distinction between imagined truths as they are created in and appear in our imagination and the original truth that is the original consciousness that our imagination appears reflected within. In making that mistake they thought that the usual conversation within their imagination was deep enough to be settled as the whole and real truth. For that reason their shallow imaginings led them to the mistake common in our species of confusing the word for what the word is meant to indicate.
For instance: There are four metaphors, "Jiba", "residence", "God" and "Origin", in the poem above; each of them is intended to be quickly internalized and surely identified within one's own deeply inward turned mind. They all have the same intention and are one in truth but are used as examples of the multitude of ways, there are many more in the Poems, that the original consciousness uses in attempting to quiet and get through the pretty much automatic, speedy misunderstanding and denial of our self centered imaginations. Regrettably our self-centered imaginations are so powerful and quick that for most of us it is our habit to quickly relate everything that we experience to the already existing truths of the world that we have accumulated as the imagined true foundations for our self-images. Because of that habit, metaphors are quickly converted to literal objects of the out turned imagination and their intended meaning and purpose is lost.
As we saw in the second verse, this tendency to misunderstand the origin of our consciousness and settle temporary ideas as truths of our world isn't our fault, as we are naturally built that way. Hence the metaphor "Jiba" for instance, refers to returning our mind, our self-centered imagination to its place of manufacture for a free upgrade and repair. The only cost of the upgrade and repair is the actual work or service of identifying the origin of our mind and returning to it. That the work or service can be completed quickly is just a matter of priority and sincerity. It can be done right now. Turn your attention inward and identify and separate your imagination from the consciousness that it appears within. When your imagination is identified and falls silent what remains is the original consciousness, the "Jiba", the place where your self-image as a human being is made.
